Notes and Guidelines on the Summer Reading Club
• Reading club participants may read as many skill and age appropriate books as you would like, but we ask that you report on only 3 books at a time during each reporting session.
• Although we record the number of books that each child has read, this program is not a competition. It is designed to enrich the reading skills of the individual and foster a love of reading.
• Prizes are awarded based on draws and contests and not necessarily on the number of books that have been read.
• If you have any questions or concerns,
please feel free to speak to staff.
